Lifestyle| Struggling With Anxiety & Panic Attacks

Hey guys. Today I wanted to talk something more different and special. Anxiety and panic attacks. Most of the people have to live with it. Everyone's symptoms are different so you might not have the same sympotms as me If you are struggling with it.

So what is anxiety disorder?

Anxiety disorder is when your worries and fears are on overdrive. It's not like something you feel before exams or talking someone famous. It can get triggered by any normal thing in your daily life.

What is a panic attack?

Panic attack happens when your anxiety become very tough. Everyone experience it differently. Some of you may have shaky hands, some of you may can't breathe, or your hands may sweat a lot.

How does a panic attack feel like?

It feels horrible. You lose the control of your body. My panic attacks mostly happen at nights, when I'm asleep. It feels terrifying, I feel like I'm gonna die. I can't breathe then I wake up and start shaking.
When I go to an amusment park, I can't try roller-coasters or chair-o-planes because I know that they triggle my panic attacks and I know that I can't stop the roller-coaster.
One day when I was at an amusement park in Armenia, I wanted to try out the new chair-o-plane because they used to be my favourites. Then it started to get higher and I started to shake, sweat, and I couldn't breathe. I closed my eyes and hoped not to die. I was so afraid because I didn't know what panic attack is. When I landed, my mum started to yell at me. She told me that I looked like a dead body and screamed my name but I didn't respond.

What to do if you are having a panic attack?

Try to keep calm, find your pulse on your neck and massage. Deep breathe and out until you feel better. Go to a place where you can be alone. Wash your face, and go out.

Knowing what panic attac is before you experience that, is better. You would know what's happening and what to do. You won't be even more terrified like me. Talk to someone about it. That's not something that you should be ashamed of. Talk to a friend, a sibling, parents, teacher or me :) Talking is one of the best way to cure yourself.
